Amanda Rafferty is a physical therapist with offices in uptown Park Ridge, IL

Welcome.

Amanda Rafferty,
Park Ridge Physical Therapist

Hi! I'm Mandy Rafferty. I am a physical therapist in Park Ridge, IL. I specialize in women's health physical therapy, with a focus on pelvic floor physical therapy. I have a passion for addressing musculoskeletal movement disorders with relation to pelvic floor dysfunction. In my more than 20 years a physical therapist, I've also worked extensively in orthopedic physical therapy.

I received a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from Marquette University in 1998. I completed my Masters of Physical Therapy in 2001 and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 from Washington University in St. Louis. I've also taught continuing education courses to physical therapists on movement disorders and lectured to runners at Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) meetings regarding injury prevention. I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), International Pelvic Pain Society, and Chicagoland Pelvic Floor Research.

I have a passion for addressing musculoskeletal movement disorders with relation to function and pain. Throughout my career, I have also treated multiple patients with acute and chronic pelvic floor dysfunction. No matter the patient, my goal is always to educate and empower-- to help my patients take control of their diagnosis so they feel prepared to manage their symptoms when they complete physical therapy.  Whether your goal is to return to the ski slopes or to be able walk your dog around the block, I'm committed to helping you live a healthy, active lifestyle.

When I'm not working, you'll find me and my husband traveling when we can, spending time with our Park Ridge neighbors and friends, and shuttling our three kids around to their various Park Ridge sports and school events.
